After the end of the NBA Finals in late July, the
offseason was officially underway, giving players some
much-needed vacation time. For some, this meant lavish
vacations and travel to other countries, but for others,
it opened up some quality gaming hours in NBA 2K22.
The preseason is in full swing, and with opening the
season in 2022 just a couple of weeks away, some of the
best players are making the most of their last hours
before they can put on their sneakers and take to the
court. Kevin Durant appears to be one such player trying
to move into the season on a positive one, which can be
seen in his dominating win streak from last night's park.
Alongside 2K's content creator known as Josh "Choc"
Humpries and 2K league player Stephen "SlayIsland" Lay,
KD and the team had 50 consecutive wins in 2K22. KD
confirmed the results, which were posted by Choc, in a
Tweet immediately following the night's winnings and
quickly became viral on Twitter. Choc is a popular
YouTube content creator for 2K with more than 200,000
subscribers to his channel.
Following last night's amazing 50-game winning streak,
it's only an issue of time before Choc is likely to post
the video for fans to see on his channel. But, at the
date of this article's publication no video was uploaded,
so fans can just imagine the excitement in that final
50th game.
For Durant, he's hoping that he'll be able to continue
his 50-game win streak as the NBA season gets underway.
With the Brooklyn Nets stacked top-to-bottom with players
like Kyrie Irving, James Harden, and Blake Griffin, KD
may possibly be in the hunt for another NBA Finals
appearance.
