We have made the decision to compile this guide
specifically for new players who are just beginning their
journey in Path of Exile. In addition, POE Synthesis
Atlas Shaping Strategy are of the opinion that even
seasoned Exiles may pick up some helpful pointers from
this article. Beginners to Path of Exile will find
helpful hints and suggestions throughout this guide.
Path of Exile is activated.
Freezing and lagging can be extremely dangerous, and
dying can completely undo any progress you've made. When

appear that shows your current framerate as well as your
latency. If you are experiencing problems with the
performance of the game, you should experiment with
various versions of the DirectX component to determine

use the orb on an item that already has the maximum
number of sockets possible for the item. The number of
links, on the other hand, is outside the scope of this

links from those sets. Only six of your socket links will
be protected from destruction by the game.
2. If you left-click on an item while holding down the
CTRL button, the items will be automatically bought or
sold to a vendor, or moved between your Stash, Backpack,
and Trade window, depending on which window you are
currently using. However, Guild Stash is not compatible
with this feature in any way.
3. To copy all of the item's data to the clipboard, hover
your cursor over the item and press CTRL+C at the same
time. You can post it on message boards, chats, and other
online venues if, for example, you want a more seasoned
player or a friend to give you their opinion on the item
(or if you want to offer it up for sale or trade).
4. While hovering over an item, pressing and holding the
ALT button will display the item's level. When it comes
to the process of crafting expensive gear and equipment,
one of the most important considerations is the item
level. When an item is dropped by a defeated monster, the
number of sockets it can have and the tier of affixes it
can have are both determined by the item's level. It is
debatable, but it is possible that it will be more
difficult to craft a high number of sockets on lower-
level items than it will be on higher-level equipment.
5. You should always level up gems in items that How to

slots that are designated for your alternate weapons. You
can do this for support gems like Empower, Enlighten, and
Enhance that require a lot of experience points to level
up, or you can do it for gems that you know you will be

option to either aim close to your character, which will
cause the projectiles to be more dispersed and cover a
larger area, or aim further away, which will cause the

9. There are a few helpful chat commands, including the
following:
- Hideout will teleport you to your hideout, but it will
only work if you are already in town or in another
hideout.
The 'Passives' tab provides a rundown of the character's
accumulated passive point rewards as well as the reward

The number of monsters still present in the region is
displayed by the -Remaining indicator.
