One of the biggest plays of Monday night¡¯s Chiefs win came when Patrick Mahomes hit tight end Demetrius Harris for a 35-yard gain on third-and-7 on the final play before the two-minute warning.The play set up running back Kareem Hunt¡®s go-ahead touchdown a few plays later Tom Jackson Jersey , but replays suggested it shouldn¡¯t have happened at all. The play clock was at zero when Mahomes took the snap and it appeared that it was there longer than the extra beat it can take for officials to rule a play dead for delay of game.Broncos linebacker Brandon Marshall said after the game that referee Craig Wrolstad confessed that they made a mistake.¡°It definitely was at zero, the replay showed that,¡± Marshall said, via ESPN.com. ¡°The ref told us that the ref that was supposed to be watching it just missed it. ¡­ He told us that, the ref told us the guy that was supposed to be watching the clock just missed it. So maybe he got caught up in watching the game because it was a good game, but you¡¯ve got to do your job. Come on, that was huge. That was big.¡±Cornerback Chris Harris heard the same thing and said ¡°you should be able to fix it¡± when he was told it was not a reviewable play. Harris added it wasn¡¯t the reason the Broncos lost, but the ¡°huge, huge, no-call¡± didn¡¯t make their chances of winning any better.Chris Harris Jr. sees the Broncos offense putting up 30 points a game It¡¯s no surprise that all eyes are on the Denver Broncos offense both inside and outside Dove Valley. One person who would likely know just how much the offensive side of the ball has improved would be cornerback Chris Harris Jr.¡°Our offense is way better than they were last year Adam Gotsis Jersey ,¡± Harris said last week. ¡°With Case under center, he¡¯s throwing great balls, he¡¯s had great accuracy all of camp. He¡¯s improved from OTAs. ¡±I feel like Case and them are clicking right now, and I expect them to put up points. I don¡¯t see anybody just shutting them down like that with our receivers that we got. Our O-line is way better. I see them putting up points. At least 30 a game.¡±It seems like all of a sudden, the Broncos have a giant chip on their shoulder. How quick people have forgotten that this roster is filled with Super Bowl talent. Since Peyton Manning retired, they have been desperately looking to fill that leadership void under center and while Keenum is no Peyton, he is good enough.¡°I think everybody is excited,¡± Harris added. ¡°We love being the underdog. Everybody¡¯s sleeping on us. I wouldn¡¯t sleep on us too much no more. Not with our quarterback.¡±That¡¯s what we like to here.
