As the sole sneaker in the adidas Yeezy line that
doesn’t feature Boost embedded in the midsole, the
Adidas Yeezy 500
Women instead calls upon the Trefoil Brand’s
classic adiprene technology to provide both support and
cushioning. An extremely minimal amount of branding then
rounds off the striking sneaker, ensuring that Ye’s
trademark design ethos remains uncluttered.

Men releases are scheduled to hit shelves over the
next few months, and one of the pairs that’s set to
release is this new “Salt” take on the Yeezy 500.
Calling upon the same tonal aesthetic as past
Adidas Yeezy 500
Sale releases, the “Salt” utilizes a light grey
hue that covers the upper’s mix of leather and suede,
while an ever-so-slight contrast is provided by the grey
suede overlays and eyelets. The retro-styled “Feet You
Wear” outsole with adiprene cushioning returns as well
to complete the look.
The chunky shoe trend isn’t losing any weight this
Summer and Kanye’s offering into that category, the
Adidas Yeezy 500
Cheap, is ready to drop in its third and arguably
most coveted colorway. The “Utility Black” serves up
the monotone all-black look for the first time since the
Yeezy Boost 750 of two winters ago, although the shade is
more of a dark grey than a true black tone.
