WASHINGTON -- Chicago Bears wide receiver Josh Morgan has
been arrested and charged with punching a man outside a
Washington nightclub.

. DC police spokesman Officer Paul Metcalf confirmed
Monday night that a man named Josh Morgan was arrested
early Sunday and charged with simple assault, a
misdemeanour. The Bears say they are aware of "Josh
Morgans presence at a weekend incident in Washington,
D.C.," and are gathering information. Morgan agreed to a
one-year contract with Chicago last week. He played for
Washington for each of the previous two seasons. Morgan
told WRC-TV in Washington that he didnt touch the man.
The TV station also reported that Morgan was issued a
citation to appear in court.

not want to risk getting into bad habits by compensating
for the pain. Mickelson met with Tom Boers, who told him
his facet joints had locked up. "Tom restored my
mobility, but I still have inflammation that will take a
week or two to subside," Mickelson said in a statement.
Mickelson nearly shot a 59 in the opening round at the
TPC Scottsdale last year and went on to a wire-to-wire
win. He graduated from Arizona State and once lived in
Scottsdale. He plans to fly to Arizona on Wednesday with
the intention of playing. "If it was any other tournament
